[Movies] Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale Unlikely For Justice League
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.05.2013

- While it was reported last month that Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale were considered likely to return for the Justice League film, that appears to have been more than a bit premature. Latino Review showed up on the Schmoes Know Movies podcast and said that while Warner Bros. was ready to bring the two back, there are now problems with getting Nolan to return as a producer because he doesn't want the film screwing up the continuity of his Batman trilogy. Bale has said he would only return to the role with Nolan leading the way.

The new word is that even Man of Steel may not lead into the team-up movie at this point, as Nolan is a producer on that film and his hesitance is throwing a monkeywrench in. At this point, it is believed that a sequel for Man of Steel is more likely than a Justice League film. None of this has been confirmed as usual, so take everything with a grain (or a handful) of salt.
