[Gossip] Reese Witherspoon 'Devastated' Over Her Disorderly Conduct Arrest
Posted by AJ Grey on 04.26.2013

Reese Witherspoon is reportedly trying hard to get past her arrest this past weekend on disorderly conduct, which saw her go on a drunken rant against the arresting officer and try to use her fame as leverage. E! Online reports that according to a source close to Reese and her agent/husband, she is "devastated" by the events.

"She is trying to lay low and spend time with her family," said the source exclusively. "It's going to take her a long time to get over and she knows she let her family down...[she] has a very close network of girlfriends who are being very supportive and have been keeping her busy. She's trying to move on, but she's definitely nervous about the future."

Reese and her husband have court dates for May 22nd and 23rd, respectively. Reese apologized on Sunday saying she'd had "one drink too many" and was "embarrassed" about what she said. She added, "I have nothing but respect for the police and I'm very sorry for my behavior."
