[Movies] Kevin Feige Implies that Marvel Will Not Reboot Daredevil Right Away
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 05.01.2013

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel's Kevin Feige addressed the issue of Marvel Entertainment regaining the screen rights to Daredevil from 20th Century Fox. However, based on Feige's statements, don't expect to see a new Daredevil movie reboot anytime soon.

Feige stated: "There comes a time in contracts where, if a studio is done making the movies, [the characters] come home. That doesn't mean we're going to make another movie. But it means they're back in the fold, which is where we want them to be."

Seeing as to how Marvel is now developing TV shows, perhaps the lawyer background for Daredevil would make the concept ripe for a legal procedural meets costumed vigilante story.
