Below is the full press release:

England -- Millennium Films is proud to announce that filming on Good People has begun at Shepperton Studios in England. Academy AwardŽ nominee Tom Wilkinson joins the all star cast lead by Academy AwardŽ nominee James Franco, Academy AwardŽ-nominee Kate Hudson and Omar Sy (star of the worldwide smash hit The Intouchables).

Good People is a contemporary thriller about an American couple living in London who fall into severe debt renovating his family's home. And then they find the tenant in their downstairs apartment has passed away and left ₤200,000 cash. All they have to do is take the money and their problems will be solved. So they do. That is when very bad things start happening to good people.

The screenplay is written by Kelly Masterson, Paul Grellong and Christina Hodson. It is based on the novel by Marcus Sakey.

The film represents OscarŽ nominated director Henrik Genz's English language feature debut. His creative team includes production designer Kave Quinn (Trainspotting, Layer Cake, The Woman In Black), costume designer Keith Madden (The Woman In Black, Eden Lake, Centurion), and cinematographer JØrgen Johansson (Italian For Beginners, Flame And Citron, Terribly Happy).

Good People is produced by Thomas Gammeltoft, Ben Forkner, Tobey Maguire, Eric Kranzler, and Mark Gill, with Avi Lerner, Trevor Short, Matt O'Toole, John Thompson, Boaz Davidson and Matthew Plouffe serving as executive producers. Paul Ritchie is co-producer.

Millennium Films develops, finances, produces and distributes approximately eight to 10 films per year. Olympus Has Fallen is the company's most recent success, earning more than $125 million worldwide since its release. In post-production is Before I Go to Sleep, starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth. Movies ready to begin filming are the intense thriller Eliza Graves with an all-star cast of Kate Beckinsale, Ben Kingsley, Michael Caine and Jim Sturgess, and the successful boxoffice franchise of The Expendables 3 with returning action heroes Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, as well as Wesley Snipes.

Film 360, Management 360's film production arm, recently produced Hope Springs, the Sony release which grossed over $100M worldwide and was recently honored with a Golden GlobeŽ nomination for Meryl Streep; and Paranoia, starring Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, and Harrison Ford, to be released by Relativity in October 2013. Projects in development include the Walter Isaacson Steve Jobs biography for Sony to be adapted by Aaron Sorkin and produced with Scott Rudin; Sesame Street at Fox, based on the iconic children's television show; Deep Water at Fox 2000 with Adrian Lyne directing, produced with Steve Zaillian; Cowboy Ninja Viking at Universal, based on the graphic novel, to be directed by Marc Forster; Hero Factory at Universal, a live-action franchise based on the global LEGOŽ property; and The Infiltrator at Warner Brothers, written by Josh Zetumer and produced with David Benioff with Leonardo DiCaprio attached to star. Management 360 also produces Game of Thrones for HBO.

Material Pictures is currently in development on a slate of films including the Steven Knight-scripted Pawn Sacrifice, which tells the life story of American chess icon Bobby Fischer leading up to his historic world championship match against Boris Spassky; Compliance director Craig Zobel's Z For Zachariah, an adaptation of Robert C. O'Brien's acclaimed science fiction novel by screenwriter Nissar Modi; the sprawling sci-fi feature Robotech based on the popular television series to be directed by Nic Mathieu for Warner Bros; Cardboard, based on the graphic novel by Doug TenNapel being developed in partnership with Chris Wedge's WedgeWorks; and an Untitled Animal Trafficking Project for Warner Bros., with Leonardo Dicaprio's Appian Way and Tom Hardy's Executive Options also producing.
