[Movies] Jonah Hill Reveals He Turned Down The Hangover
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 06.26.2013

Speaking to Bullett, actor Jonah Hill revealed that he turned down all three lead roles in The Hangover.

Speaking on why he turned down the role, Hill stated: "A genuine fear of mine was that I was going to be known as ‘The Guy from Superbad' for the rest of my life. [Todd Phillips approached me about playing] any one of the three main parts in The Hangover. They were both [The Hangover and Transformers] really big decisions, and ones that most people didn't understand. I knew I could be a dramatic actor, but I also knew I couldn't go from Superbad to Schindler's List."

Hill would later go on to get an Oscar nomination for his work in Moneyball opposite Brad Pitt. Next he also plans on writing a script that he plans to direct as well.
