[VIDEO] Kevin Smith Says He Trained Ben Affleck For Batman
Posted by Joseph Lee on 09.03.2013

In an interview with TMZ, Kevin Smith commented on Ben Affleck becoming Batman in the new Man of Steel film, which he said he's excited for. He also joked that he "trained" Affleck for the role.

He said: "This was a guy that I worked with for the first 12 years of my career, a lot of people say the best years of my career, so to see that guy take the big role, take the mantle of Batman, one of my favorite characters on the planet, that's kinda dope. I'm not saying I made Ben Affleck who he is today, but I made 'Mallrats' with him 'Chasing Amy', 'Dogma.' So in some weird way, now that he's becoming Batman, I trained Batman."
