Over how she was treated on their show...
TMZ reports that Selma Blair has threatened Charlie Sheen and Lionsgate Entertainment with a lawsuit after being fired on Anger Management.
Sources say Sheen targeted Blair after she criticized him in front of the crew. She complained openly that everyone had to sit and wait while Sheen was in his trailer, learning his lines. Once Sheen learned of her problem, that's when she believes the fix was in. She wants the $1.2 million she would have earned if she kept working. If she isn't paid, she will sue. Of the twelve scenes per episode, Blair was only in three or four. Sheen was in all of them and required to memorize 44 to 48 pages of dialogue per episode.
A source said: "When you work 12 hours a day and have 3 girlfriends at home, it's hard to memorize all the lines for tomorrow."
The source added that when Sheen learned of Blair's complaints he was upset, but the decision had already been made to write her off the show. The source added: "America didn't want to see Charlie with just one girlfriend."
The plan was to phase her out over eight episodes. When Sheen learned of the criticism, "that process was accelerated." Lawyers for Blair and Lionsgate are currently trying to reach a settlement.
