Big Brother and Rookie Blue are up...
While The X Factor was up from Wednesday, it was still behind its opening week last week by a large margin. FOX did win the night, but The X Factor's first hour fell 24% in viewers and 35% in the demographic from its Thursday debut in 2012. It was down as a whole 19% in viewers and 29% in the demographic compared to last year. Meanwhile, Big Brother for CBS and Rookie Blue for ABC were both up. Their ratings may be down slightly as affiliates in New York (CBS) and Boston (ABC) carried an NFL game.
FOX won with 6.8 million viewers and a 4.2 rating/7 share in households, followed by CBS (6.7 million, 4.4/7), ABC (5.1 million, 3.3/5), NBC (3.4 million, 2.2/4) and The CW (656,000, 0.5/1).
