The Crazy Ones does well...
Robin Williams and The Crazy Ones managed to help CBS dominate the night, beating out the premiere of The Michael J. Fox Show on NBC. It had the biggest audience of any series premiere this fall and the second best demographic rating behind Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. It was helped, of course, by The Big Bang Theory, which had its biggest premiere ever and improved on that in a second episode. However, CBS' Two and A Half Men and Elementary were down from last year. Meanwhile, The Michael J Fox Show did gain viewers from its Parks and Recreation lead-in (which was down). Parenthood and Glee were both down as well. Grey's Anatomy was up from last year.
CBS won with 14.2 million viewers and an 8.6 rating/14 share in households, followed by ABC (7.9 million, 5.3/9), FOX (5.8 million, 3.6/6), NBC (5.3 million, 3.4/6) and The CW (856,000, 0.5/1).
In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS won again with a 3.7 rating, followed by ABC (2.7), FOX (2.0), NBC (1.7) and The CW (0.3).
