Plus Supernatural defeats FOX...
With reruns on several networks last night, the shows airing original episodes were able to improve. The Voice and Chicago Fire were up from last week and The CW had its most-watched Tuesday in over five years. The Originals had a series high in viewers and Supernatural, while getting its biggest audience since its season premiere, also beat FOX's New Girl rerun and The Mindy Project in total viewers (it was tied in the demographic). Meanwhile, Brooklyn Nine-Nine was up for FOX. The Goldbergs fell without Agents of SHIELD as a lead-in and NCIS will a rerun, still had the highest audience of the night.
CBS won with all reruns, getting 10.1 million and a 6.6 rating/11 share in households, followed by NBC (8.95 million, 5.6/9), ABC (3.6 million, 2.4/4), FOX (2.85 million, 1.8/3) and The CW (2.45 million, 1.5/2).
