UPDATED: [Gossip] Paul Walker's Cause of Death Revealed
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.04.2013

UPDATE: TMZ claims that a close examination of the video of the car crash that resulted in Paul Walker's death shows a shadowy image appearing to flail.

The report says the image could possibly be Paul Walker attempting to escape the wreckage of the crash. Law enforcement sources added that there is evidence Walker and Roger Rodas (who was also in the car when it crashed) never got out of their seats. When pressed however, they would not conclusively say Walker did not attempt an escape. Investigators are also reportedly confident that Rodas absolutely didn't move, but they could not definitively say the same thing about Walker.

Another source claimed both men were trapped in their seats and did not attempt an escape, but one key word was "appears." Investigators are still looking at the video now.

ORIGINAL: In another twist to an already tragic story, TMZ reports that Paul Walker died at the age of 40 from the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries from the car crash he had on November 30. The LA County Coroner's Office revealed that Walker did not die from the impact of the crash, and in fact burned to death after the Porsche GT crashed into both a tree and pole, then exploded.

The driver, Roger Rodas, died at the age of 38 from multiple traumatic injures that happened upon impact. Burning was not listed as a cause of his death. Toxicology results will be available in 6 to 8 weeks. Both deaths have been ruled as an accident, and both men were positively identified with their dental records.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
