The Following's season two premiere gets shifted...
Fox TV has announced in an official press release that the first season of Sleepy Hollow will get a two hour finale to end the season. It will be two episodes shown back-to-back on January 20.
The season finale event, "The Indispensable Man," will air at 8PM ET on Monday, January 20. The episode will feature Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills discovering a secret within the pages of George Washington's Bible and the true nature of the death of the nation's first President. Also, Captain Irving makes a near-impossible decision for the sake of his family that drastically changes his future. Then at 9PM ET, Fox will air the next episode, "Bad Blood," in which the battle between good and evil comes to a head and the town of Sleepy Hollow will never be the same.
Fox has also announced that the season two premiere of The Following has been moved to January 27 (not January 20th as originally announced) to accommodate the two-hour finale of Sleepy Hollow. The season two premiere will start with a "special preview" of The Following on January 19 with the airing of "Resurrection" after the NFC Championship Game. Then Monday, January 27 will see the broadcasting of the official premiere of "Resurrection" at 10PM ET. "Resurrection" shows Ryan Hardy dealing with a horrific new murder spree, and his suspicions that Joe Carroll's reign of terror is far from over are furthered.
