[Movies] Disney Holding Off On New Indiana Jones Film
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.13.2013

Disney is taking its time with the recently-acquired Indiana Jones franchise. Variety reports that according to Disney's Alan Horn, the franchise won't see a new entry for at least two to three years.

Horn said at Variety's Dealmakers Breakfast earlier today, "We haven't done anything. We don't have a story. We need a story."

He continued, "Do I have to see it now, and do I have to see it on the big screen? If the answer to both of those questions is no, then we have a big problem. My paycheck has a mouse on it and I take it very seriously."

Lucasfilm is currently focused on the Star Wars franchise. What this means for Harrison Ford's involvement, considering his age, isn't yet known.
