It's "beautiful and sad"...
During an interview with on BBC Breakfast (Via Zap2It), Jenna Coleman said that Matt Smith's exit from Doctor Who will be "beautiful" and sad". It happens during "The Time of the Doctor", which airs on Wednesday.
She said: "That day where we had those words to say, those wonderful beautiful words that Steven [Moffat] has written. We were just trying to avoid them for as long as possible and not wanting to look at the scene because it's so beautiful and sad."
She thinks that the episode will wrap up all loose ends from Smith's time as the Eleventh Doctor. She added: "It's like this wonderful arc in a way."
She is currently rehearsing the show's eighth season with the new, Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi. She said: "It's a strange thing. We've been rehearsing over the last week but it feels like something very different. It's kind of taken a whole different direction and Peter's Doctor is very, very different."
Capaldi will be revealed in the same episode that Smith leaves as the Eleventh regenerates into the Twelfth. The episode airs on December 25 at 9 PM ET on BBC America.
