Victims' Families Upset That James Holmes' Apartment Is On The Market
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.30.2013

TMZ reports that the apartment of James Holmes, the man who opened fire on a theater during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises, is now on the market and families of the victims are outraged. The apartment had previously been booby-trapped by Holmes with 30 grenades and ten gallons of gasoline with the goal of killing cops.

Bill Hoover, whose grandson AJ Boik was killed in the shooting, said: "The place should be burned down or bulldozed. He [Holmes] is the epitome of evil and what went on in that building was horrendous ... I don't think anyone would want to stay there if they knew the evil acts that were done."

The landlord wants $850 a month. The 650 square foot 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment has been renovated and re-furnished. There is no mention in the listing about who used to live there.

A member of another victim's family added: "There needs to be a sign saying a worthless killer lived here.
