[Movies] Mark Wahlberg Says That Entourage Dispute Wasn't All About Money

There were other reasons...
During a producer's roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Wahlberg revealed exactly why it took so long for an Entourage movie to begin production.
In October, he blamed greed from the cast members while star Adrian Grenier said he wanted "the boys" to get equal success from the film.
Walhberg said: "Everybody was saying it wasn't all about money and greed and it wasn't. It wasn't, necessarily. It was really about fairness. What I was trying to communicate to the guys is this is an important movie for us to do at a price. Then if the movie is successful, like the 'Sex and the City' was, then there's a lot of opportunity on the upside."
The first Sex and the City movie was made on a $65 million budget and made $415 million. The second film didn't make as much but was still a success. Entourage will go into production in January for a Thanksgiving 2014 release.
