[Movies] Quvenzhane Wallis Set To Make A Lot Of Money From Annie Remake
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.31.2013

TMZ reports that ten-year-old actress Quvenhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) is set to make over a million dollars for starring in the remake of Annie. The producers had to get approval from a judge because she's a minor.

Wallis is set to get a $750,000 base salary, a $750,000 bonus if the film does well, 5% of profits, 5% of all merchandising and 10% of sound track album royalties. Her co-stars are Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. According to her contract, her name can't be lower than the second position, which means she will likely appear above Diaz. She will also get unlimited wi-fi in her trailer and any veto power on bloopers before they are released.

When Wallis promotes the film, she will be given three dresses to choose from and she gets to keep what she wears, provided she doesn't sell or lend the outfit to anyone. Her image can be used to promote the film but not the sale of alcohol, tobacco, firearms, feminine hygiene products and pharmaceuticals. Producers also can't use her to promote gambling, except for Pachinko machines.
