[Gossip] Puck From The Real World Avoids Jail In Domestic Violence Case
Posted by Joseph Lee on 12.31.2013

TMZ reports that David "Puck" Rainey, former star of The Real World, is attending a domestic violence class as part of a plea bargain for his criminal case. If he successfully finishes the course he won't go to jail.

He was accused of hurting his live-in girlfriend and faced a sentence of one year in jail. The two had an argument in July in which he allegedly scratched and bruised her then slammed down the phone when she tried to call 911. He pleaded guilty to domestic violence and dissuading a witness which are both misdemeanors. He was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to attend a one-year domestic violence program. He was given credit for the fifteen days he did spend in jail.

He had a similar problem in 2011 when he was arrested for felony domestic violence, and he spent time in jail in 2012 for stalking a woman.
