[Movies] Netflix Testing Out New Streaming Plans
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.31.2013

Netflix is rolling out two new streaming plans for testing. Ad Week reports that the company is testing two new plans which will offer more flexibility for consumers on how many streams they can have running concurrently.

The new plans are a $6.99 plan, which will offer a single SD stream on one device at a time, and an $9.99 plan which allows three concurrent streams. Tnese would be in addition to the already-offered $7.99 for two HD streams and $11.99 for four HD stream.

A rep for Netflix said of the new plans"We always are testing new things and this is a test for a $6.99 single stream plan. Not all people will see this option and it may not be something we ever offer generally."
