[Movies] Budget Revealed For Batman vs. Superman
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.03.2014

The Inquisitr has a report on the Michigan filming of Batman vs. Superman, which includes the movie's official budget. Part of the shoot will take place in Detroit and the city is expecting a lot of celebrities and money to come in as production begins in the next few weeks.

The film stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Zack Snyder will once again direct. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will all return from Man of Steel while Gal Galdot will play Wonder Woman. The shoot will also take place at Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac.

Michelle Grinnell, public relations manager for the Michigan Film Office, mentioned that she was excited the film was shooting in Michigan and said: "It's the film where Batman and Superman meet for the first time on the Big Screen..

She added that it's the largest production in Michigan's history and has a budget of $131 million. The previous record belonged to Oz: The Great And Powerful, which was filmed there in 2011. Batman vs Superman will use the studio and will shoot on location.

It's expected that the shoot will bring in $5 million in revenue for the state and about 6,000 jobs. If you live in the area and are interested in either an on camera or behind-the-scenes job, you can check here.
