[Gossip] Amanda Bynes' Drug Possession Charge Likely To Be Dismissed
Posted by AJ Grey on 01.09.2014

TMZ reports that according to law enforcement sources, Amanda Bynes' charges from the incident in which she allegedly threw a bong out of her New York City apartment window will be dropped.

Bynes was previously charged with marijuana possession, evidence tampering, and reckless endangerment after the incident. However, the case is set to be resolved tomorrow in court. Bynes is set to not enter a plea deal. If she continues her therapy for the next six months and behaves, the charges will be formally dismissed and the case will be sealed.

The case is reportedly being dropped because police didn't retrieve the glass of the broken bong for days, which means there is no proof that what they eventually found was thrown by Bynes. The evidence was said to be found but contaminated by weather, time, and cigarette butts.

Amanda Bynes' lawyer Gerald Shargel had no comment on the report.
