[TV] Stephen Moyer Hints at True Blood Film or Spin-Off
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.10.2014

Stephen Moyer has hinted at a possible film or spin-off for True Blood. In a new interview with The Examiner promoting the film he is producing Free Rider, Moyer was asked what True Blood fans were supposed to do "in the summer of 2015" considering that the summer series ends this year.

Moyer answered, "What are you going to do in the summer of 2015? I'm not sure about the summer of 2015, but if things go the way I'm hoping there will be something to watch in the summer of 2016. We'll have an announcement about that... soonish."

Of course, Moyer could be talking about something completely unreleated to True Blood and instead a new film or series for himself. If a spin-off is forthcoming though, it stands to reason that it would air two summers after the original series goes off the air, taking up the same slot left by its predecessor.

The seventh and final season of True Blood kicks off this summer.
