Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.10.2014

Jesse Plemons could be headed to a galaxy far, far away. The Wrap reports that the actor, who played Todd on Breaking Bad, is in talks for a lead role in Star Wars: Episode VII. Plemons is set to meet with J.J. Abrams next week, with speculation that his physical resemblance to Mark Hamill may have in him line for the role of Luke Skywalker's son. The exact role he is up for isn't confirmed though.

Plemens is the latest actor linked to the film with Saoirse Ronan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Sullivan Stapleton all said to be in the running for roles. The film releases on December 18th, 2015.
