[Movies] John Logan Plays Coy As to Whether Blofeld is in Bond 24
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.17.2014

John Logan spoke with IGN about working on the script for the next James Bond film. Logan said that the next two films, both of which he is writing, will build off the direction taken in Skyfall. Check out the highlights:

On the story for the upcoming film: "All I can say about Bond is that I'm happily writing it. Sam [Mendes] would repel through the window and kill me."

On his connection to the franchise: "I grew up on the Bond movies. The first one I saw was Diamonds Are Forever, when I was a kid. I just loved them to pieces. I love all the elements, from the books -- mostly from the novels; going back to Ian Fleming is where I started with Skyfall -- and there's certainly elements of the movies and the novels that we've brought into the new movie, as they did into Skyfall."

On whether he is using Blofeld now that they have the rights to do so: "You know, I think our villain's appropriate to the story we're telling."
