[Movies] Margot Robbie Could Play Jane In Tarzan Reboot
Posted by Ashish on 01.18.2014

The Wrap reports that Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) is being considered for the role of Jane in the upcoming reboot of Tarzan. David Yates (final four Harry Potter movies) is set to direct the film.

Alexander Skarsgard is set to play Tarzan. Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz will also be in the film.

The screenplay by Stephen Sommers and Stuart Beattie will adapt Edgar Rice Burroughs' 1912 book "Tarzan of the Apes." The film will take place past Tarzan's origin story and will focus on Tarzan having returned to and been assimilated by British civilization of the era. He will then go on an adventure into the Congo on orders from Queen Victoria.
