[TV] Patrick J Adams and Jason Isaacs Join The Cast Of Rosemary's Baby
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.20.2014

Deadline reports that Patrick J. Adams (Suits) and Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter series) have joined the cast of NBC's four-hour miniseries Rosemary's Baby, the adaptation of the 1967 novel by Ira Levin. The series stars Zoe Saldana and will be directed by Agnieska Holland.

Here's a synopsis: Rosemary's Baby centers on Rosemary Woodhouse (Saldana), a young wife and would-be mother who, with her husband Guy (Adams), moves into a Paris apartment that has a dark past. After finally getting pregnant, she becomes increasingly suspicious that both her husband and their mysterious neighbors have ulterior motives about the future of her child.

Isaacs will play warlock/coven leader Roman Castevet, originally played by Sidney Blackmer in Roman Polanski's 1968 film. Guy was played by John Cassavetes in the original. This is Isaacs' return to NBC after the drama Awake. He previously worked with NBC executive Robert Greenblatt on Showtime's Brotherhood.

Filming on the miniseries will begin soon in Paris. Lionsgate TV wil produce.
