[TV] Ratings: American Idol Wins Wednesday For FOX

Modern Family and Law & Order: SVU both up...
ABC and NBC were up compared to last week, but it was American Idol which won the night for FOX, even though it was down from last week (but up from its second episode). Modern Family was the top scripted show in the demographic while Law & Order: SVU was the top NBC show. Over at CBS, Criminal Minds and CSI had all-time lows in the demographic. The CW's Arrow and The Tomorrow People fell for The CW. FOX won with 13.2 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/12 share in households for the night, followed by CBS (8 million, 5.2/8). ABC (6.5 million, 4.3/7), NBC (6.1 million, 3.9/6) and The CW (1.9 million, 1.3/2). In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won again with a 4.0 rating, followed by ABC (2.0), NBC (1.7), CBS (1.6) and The CW (0.7).

ABC: The Middle (8.1 million, 5.2/8)/Suburgatory (6.1 million, 4.0/6)
NBC: Revolution (5.3 million, 3.4/5)
CBS: Two and a Half Men rerun (4.1 million, 2.8/4)/Mom rerun (4.15 million, 2.8/4)
The CW: Arrow (2.5 million, 1.6/3)
18-49 leader: American Idol (3.9)
FOX: American Idol (13.4 million, 7.8/12)
CBS: Criminal Minds (10.4 million, 6.6/10)
ABC: Modern Family (9.7 million, 6.1/9)/Super Fun Night (5.15 million, 3.3/5)
