[TV] Professor Zoom and Killer Frost Roles Cast in CWs The Flash
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 01.25.2014

Deadline reports that the roles of Eddie Thawne and Caitlin Snow have been cast for the upcoming CW Arrow spinoff, The Flash.

Rick Gosnett (The Vampire Diaries) will reportedly play Central City Police Detective Eddie Thawne. Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th) is set to play STAR Labs bioengineer Caitlin Snow.

Thawne has been renamed from his original DC Comics counterpart Eobard Thawne, aka Professor Zoom/Reverse Flash. Snow eventually becomes the ice-powered villainess known as Killer Frost.

The new show stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and Jesse L. Martin as Detective West. Geoff Johns is writing the pilot episode, and Arrow pilot director David Nutter is directing.
