[Movies] Marvel Moving Forward With Thor 3, Writers Tapped For Script

The next Thor sequel is confirmed…
Marvel Entertainment has officially announced that they are moving forward with Thor 3, and the film will be scripted by the former comic co-writing duo of Craig Kyle and Chris Yost.
Kyle, a former Marvel Comics writer of such books as X-Force and New X-Men, previously served as a producer for Thor and Thor: The Dark World. Kyle will now be transitioning from his role as SVP of Production and Development at Marvel Studios to become a screenwriter fulltime. Kyle will be scripting the next Thor sequel with his longtime collaborator Christopher Yost, who co-wrote the script for Thor: The Dark World.
Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President of Production, stated on the announcement: "I am proud of Craig and have enjoyed working with him over these past years. His creative instincts have helped shape 'Thor' and 'Thor: The Dark World' at every level of the filmmaking process. The entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor's adventure."
Kyle co-created the X-23 character and also served as producer and writer of many animated series and direct-to-video projects for Marvel Animation including: Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate Avengers 2, Hulk VS., The Next Avengers, Doctor Strange, Planet Hulk, and Wolverine and the X-Men. Kyle also served as co-writer for such comics as New X-Men, X-23: Innocence Lost, and X-Force alongside Christopher Yost.
