[Movies] Emmy Rossum and Kate Mara Reading For Sue Storm In Fantastic Four Reboot
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.05.2014

According to The Hollywood Reporter, screen tests are happening this week for Fox's Fantastic Four reboot, which will be directed by Josh Trank. Kate Mara and Emmy Rossum are testing for the part of Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. Miles Teller, who has been rumored for the film, tested for the part of Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic. Christina Cook tested for Ben Grimm, who becomes The Thing.

The only person attached to the film right now is Michael B. Jordan, playing Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. Fox exercised the option it had on him after Chronicle, which Trank also directed.

Rarlier reports claimed that Saoirse Ronan and Elizabeth Olsen were false (due to scheduling and interest declining). Kit Harington will also not be testing as he is starring in the period drama Testament of Youth.

Dr. Doom is said to be the villain of the reboot, which Julian McMahon played in the last two films. The studio will likely go for a big name and isn't ruling out switching genders for the role.

This is not the end of the casting process and more may read in the next few days and weeks.
