[TV] Judy Davis Leaves 24: Live Another Day
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.05.2014

The Hollywood Reporter, Judy Davis has left the cast of Fox's miniseries 24: Live Another Day due to personal matters, a little over a month after she signed up. She was set to play the villain Margot, a British national and widow of a terrorist. She was set for multiple episodes. Casting for a replacement will begin immediately, as filming is ongoing in London.

The series stars Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Raver, William Devane, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Tate Donovan, Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt and Michael Wincott. It takes place in London and continues the adventures of Jack Bauer, four years after 24's final season in 2010. It will continue the trademark of having real time action.

The series will be executive produced by Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Sutherland. Teakwood Lane Productions, 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV are the production companies. It was created by Joel Surnow and Cochran. A teaser was released during the Super Bowl. The series debuts on May 5 at 8 PM with a two hour episode.
