[Gossip] More on Paul Walker's Will Petitioning for Guardianship of His Daughter
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.05.2014

As reported yesterday, Paul Walker's will petitioned for his mother Cheryl to become the legal guardian of his fifteen year-old daughter Meadow. TMZ reports that Walker's will was poorly written and makes it seems like he wanted Cheryl to win guardianship over Meadow's mother Rebecca Soteros, but it has managed to reflect what Walker wanted regardless.

When the will was made in 2001, it made Cheryl the legal guardian of Meadow. The problem was that at the time of the will's drafting, Meadow lived with Soteros in Hawaii and Walker was reportedly happy with that arrangement. The language in the will is poorly-written and didn't actually reflect Walker's desires at the time.

However, it works out fine because three years ago, Meadow moved to Southern California to live with Walker and Santeros was fine with it. Meadow wants to continue to live in the state and there is no disagreement from her mother, which means that Cheryl makes the most sense to serve as the teen's guardian.
