[Movies] New Book About The Art Of Godzilla Coming In May

Superhero Hype reports that Insight Editions, Legendary Pictures, Toho Co., Ltd., and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have announced a behind-the-sceens book for Godzilla called Godzilla: The Art of Destruction. It will be released this May around the same time as the new film.

The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters from a script by Max Borenstein and a story by David Callaham and Borenstein, based on Toho's character "Godzilla". Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Patricia Whitcher and Alex Garcia will executive produce with Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira. The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House), David Strathairn (Lincoln), Ken Watanabe (Inception), Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine) and Juliette Binoche (The English Patient).

Before the film's released on May 16, Insight Editions will release the new book, which was written by Mark Cotta Vaz. The release features production art and interviews with the director, key crew members, and cast.

Insight has previously released the books Man of Steel: Inside the Legendary World of Superman and Pacific Rim: Man, Machines & Monsters.
