Two men claim their idea was stolen...
Spike Jonze has been sued by who men who claim that he stole their idea to create his Oscar-nominated film Her. TMZ reports that Jones has been sued by Sachin Gadh and Jonathan Sender, who claim they submitted a screenplay to talent agency CAA in 2011 titled Belv which had significant similarities to Her. They were told by the agency, which represents Jonze, that it doesn't accept unsolicited scripts. They say they didn't know anything else until Jonze's film was released.
The two claim that both films see the main character carrying around the love interest in his front shirt pocket and "examine the human psyche through interactions between the character and the computer." Where Her saw the main character fall in love with his operating system after his relationship falls apart, Belv saw a cell phone come to life after a microwave mishap and become a "witty wing man for dating."
