[Movies] Is A Farscape Movie In Development?
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.24.2014

In a story about a separate project, IF.com noted that Justin Monjo is working on a movie based on the TV series Farscape. Monjo was one of the writers for the series that ran from 1998 to 2002. It was followed by the miniseries Farscape: the Peacekeeper Wars in 2004. It was co-produced by Jim Henson Productions and RHI Entertainment.

The finale saw American astronaut John Crichton (Ben Browder) and peacekeepr Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) get married and have a baby. The film will see that the boy has special powers that makes him the target of aliens so he is sent on Earth to hide. He reaches the age of 19 and is found, so he rejoins his parents on their spaceship.

The film will be shot in Australia.
