According to TMZ, Harold Ramis (Caddyshack, Stripes, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Animal House, National Lampoon's Vacation) passed away due to early this morning in Chicago from complications stemming from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis. He was 69. Autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis is a rare disease involving the swelling of blood vessels. Ramis started to suffer from issues related to his autoimmune disease in 2010.
