[Gossip] Seth Rogen Criticizes Senate After Testifying About Alzheimer's

Barely anyone showed up...
Seth Rogen isn't pleased that the U.S. Senate didn't seem to care about his testimony in regard to Alzheimer's disease. Rogen appeared on Capital Hill Wednesday to talk about the lack of focus on finding a cure, the opening statement for which you can see below. The condition is one that is close to his heart, as his mother-in-law was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's and saw her health decline afterward.
Rogen's testimony was only attended by two senators however, with sixteen either not showing up or leaving before he spoke and causing Rogen to take to his Twitter:
Not sure why only two senators were at the hearing. Very symbolic of how the Government views Alzheimer's. Seems to be a low priority.
He got some support from Illinois Senator Mark Kirk, who thanked him on the social media site. The irony is that Kirk was one of the senators who left--but not before taking a picture with Rogen. When Rogen politely asked why he left, they had this exchange:
@SenatorKirk symbolically, it hurts the cause to see that many empty seats. Wish you hung around. Nice meeting you.
