[Movies] Matthew Vaughn Says New Fantastic Four is a Full Reboot
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.01.2014

Matthew Vaughn has clarified the status of Fox's upcoming Fantastic Four--and taken a stab at the previous films in the process. When asked by Empire Online that the film will be a "total reboot."

Vaughn said, "It's a total reboot, that's for sure. It's got nothing to do with the other bloody ones. It's not stretchy guy and a guy running around in rock that looks like it's made polystyrene. And its not a comedy."

The film stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm and opens on June 19th, 2015.
