[TV] Bryan Singer To Direct Pilot For Battle Creek
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.04.2014

Deadline reports that Bryan Singer will direct the pilot for David Shore's Battle Creek. He previously directed the pilot for Shore's House and executive produced all eight seasons. Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad) will write the series.

The series follows Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) and FBI agent Milton Chamberlain, "who have different worldviews but are teamed up to clean up the semi-mean streets of Battle Creek, Michigan."

Gilligan created the series years ago. He will executive produce with Shore (who is also showrunner), Singer, Mark Johnson, Jason Taylor of Bad Hat Harry and Erin Gunn of Shore Z. Singer is the second person from House to join Battle Creek after Kal Penn. He is also currently executive producing ABC's Black Box, which is also straight-to-series.
