[Movies] Check Out The Latest Toy For Godzilla
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.17.2014

MTV has revealed photos of a new Godzilla toy from JAKKS Pacific that reveals the best look at the King of the Monsters yet. The toys come from the reboot from Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures.

The figure has twelve points of articulation and is 24" high (measured diagonally) and 43" long. The tail swings back and forth and his mouth opens and closes. The film, which will be released on May 16, stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen.

Dominic Laurienzo, Senior Vice President of Design for JAKKS Pacific, said: "Our massive Godzilla figure is unlike any on the market today. At over three and a half feet in length, we've captured every inch of 'Awesome-ness' from head to tail! From the moment we saw the storyboards, we knew this would be the ultimate addition to the Large Scale Figure world. The team worked very closely with Warner Brothers and some of the best sculptors to bring to life the magnitude of this character. Whether kid or collector, we are very excited to bring our Godzilla figure to fans of all ages."

JAKKS has previously released large-scale figures for Man of Steel and The Dark Knight. The figures will be available at Toys R'Us later this week for the suggested price of $44.99 and nationwide in May.
