[TV] American Horror Story Season Four to Be a Carnival-Set Story
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.17.2014

If you're an American Horror Story watcher, you know what it is that you do in-between seasons: speculate en masse about what the upcoming season may consist of. Well, here's some fuel for your fire. One of the show's writers has confirmed that the upcoming fourth season will be set at a carnival.

Douglas Petrie was on the Nerdist Writers Panel podcast and discussed the show, saying, "We just started working on Season 4 of American Horror Story, which is completely different than anything we've done before."

He added that the show will be set in a carnival and said, "We will find [our plan] and it's gonna be awesome. We don't know what we're doing. It does not have a title, but [carnival], that's the idea, very roughly that's the idea."

This adds to what little information we already know, which is that the show will take place during the 1950s and that Jessica Lange (allegedly in her final season on the show) is "working on her German accent" according to Ryan Murphy. The season will premiere in October.
