But The Voice and The Blacklist are up...
Dancing with the Stars helped ABC get a win last night (and helped Castle get its best numbers in six weeks) but it was down from both its fall premiere and last year's spring premiere. Meanwhile, The Voice and The Blacklist were up and gave NBC the other win in the demographic. How I Met Your Mother was up for CBS. Bones and The Following were down for FOX. The Tomorrow People moving to Monday gave The CW an increase over the former holder of that time slot, Beauty and the Beast.
ABC won with 13.3 million viewers and an 8.5 rating/13 share in households. It was followed by NBC (12.6 million, 7.6/12), CBS (6.7 million, 4.3/7), FOX (4.8 million, 3.1/5) and The CW (1.1 million, 0.8/1). In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC won with a 3.6 rating, followed by ABC (2.2), CBS (1.8), FOX (1.4) and The CW (0.4). Here is the Monday hour by hour:
ABC: Dancing With the Stars season premiere (14.5 million viewers, 9.3/15 households)
