[Gossip] Shaquille O'Neal Being Investigated For Allegedly Punching A Man In A TV Studio
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.25.2014

TMZ reports that Shaquille O'Neal is being investigated by Atlanta police after a man named Robert Williams (who works as a camera operator on Inside the NBA) claims Shaq punched him at Turner studios last year. Williams claims that he was attacked just after midnight.

He said: "While at work at Turner Studios on May 9th 2013, about 12:30am, as I was performing my duties at work, Shaquille O'Neal ran out of a room and hit me with a tackle punch to the back knocking me down and falling on top of me injuring my neck and back."

He reported the matter to security and was put in medical care. He didn't file a police report until two months later on July 2. Shaq claims the entire incident is being exaggerated.

His lawyer told WSBTV: "This was nothing more than horseplay. No one intended for anyone to get injured."

Police say that no charges have been filed and Shaq as never arrested. He is, however, still being investigated.
