[Gossip] James Van Der Beek Says He Should Play Indiana Jones Next
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.27.2014

Okay, so clearly he's joking so don't worry that he's actively gunning for the job yet. But James Van Der Beek says he'd be game for putting on the fedora and cracking a whip in a future Indiana Jones film. TMZ caught up with the actor and asked what he thought about the rumor that Lucasfilm and Disney were considering casting Bradley Cooper as Indy for future films due to Harrison Ford's age. You can see the video below.

To summarize, Van Der Beek said that he doesn't like the idea of anyone else being cast, but when asked whether he would do it, he switched into deadpan mode and said, "Absolutely. F*** Harrison Ford."
