[Movies] Miles Dyson's Son Cast In Terminator: Genesis
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.28.2014

Variety reports that Dayo Okenyi (The Hunger Games) has officially been cast as Miles Dyson's son in Paramount and Skydance's Terminator: Genesis. It was previously reported that Attack the Block's John Boyega was up for the role but producers have went in another direction.

The film also stars Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke. Alan Taylor will direct. No plot details have been revealed but it is the first film in a new trilogy. Dyson was played by Joe Morton in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, as the scientist who created Cyberdine Systems, which eventually became Skynet and started the war between machines and humans. Dyson was killed in the film but his son was also featured.

It's unknown how he will appear in the film, which is financed and produced by Skydance. David Ellison will produce. Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier wrote the script. Dana Goldberg and Paul Schwake will executive produce while Paramount will distribute.
