[TV] Michael Chiklis Joins The Cast Of American Horror Story: Freak Show
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.29.2014

Shock Till You Drop reports that last night at Paleyfest (via the official Twitter account), Ryan Murphy revealed that Michael Chiklis (The Shield, Fantastic Four) will join the cast of American Horror Story: Freak Show, the fourth season of the show. He will play the father of Evan Peters' character. Others in the cast include Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Jamie Brewer, Denis O'Hare and Frances Conroy.

The season will be about a "freak show", not a carnival or circus as previously reported. It will be set in Florida and returns in October.

This will be Chiklis' return to FX after The Shield, which ran on the network from 2002 to 2008.
