[TV] Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie Says They Shot Final How I Met Your Mother Scene in 2005

She barely remembers it now...
While it isn't quite news to hardcore How I Met Your Mother fans (it's been said before), it's an interesting tidbit for those who don't follow the show quite as strongly: according to Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie, their final scene as the children in How I Met Your Mother was shot a full nine years ago. Fonseca and Henrie told People that they shot the scenes back when they were much younger in order to ensure that they would be the same age when the show wrapped.
Fonseca said, "We shot this last little section nine years ago. It was so long ago, I don't really remember what I said."
She added, "David was growing so fast. He grew like four shoe sizes and his voice dropped, so it was very apparent."
Henrie, who is now twenty-four, said, "When we started, I wasn't even old enough to drive. Now, I just bought my first house. I come home … and my cousins are watching the show. It is always a funny feeling. They always say, 'Baby David is on TV!'"
Fonseca, who has gone on to star in Nikita and do other work, says, "I still get recognized a lot from HIMYM. It is kind of funny because I don't feel like it is my show, but I'm really proud of to have been a part of it."
