[TV] Ratings: NCAA Final Down But Still Enough To Win Monday
Posted by Joseph Lee on 04.08.2014

While the NCAA men's basketball championship victory of Connecticut over Kentucky was down from last year's game, it was still enough to give CBS a win. The numbers will be adjusted slightly due to a live sports broadcast. The Voice was even for NBC and a special airing of American Dream Builders was above its usual Sunday numbers but below the ratings that The Blacklist gets in the same time slot. Bones and The Following both did well, while Dancing with The Stars climbed in viewers but dropped in the demographic. CBS won with 14.6 million viewers and an 8.7 rating/13 share in households. It was followed by ABC (12.1 million, 7.9/12), NBC (9.7 million, 5.9/9), FOX (5.5 million, 3.4/5) and The CW (792,000, 0.6/1). In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS won again with a 4.9 rating, followed by NBC (2.8), ABC (1.8), FOX (1.5) and The CW (0.3). Here is the Monday hour by hour:
