[Movies] Screenwriters Attached to New Timecop Reboot
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 04.09.2014

THR reports that Brian and Mark Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) will be writing the script for the upcoming big screen reboot for Timecop for Universal Pictures.

The original 1994 film starred Jean-Claude Van damme and was based on the Dark Horse Comics property. The story originated as a three-part story for a Dark horse Comics anthology series. The first film later inspired a short-lived TV series in 1997 and a direct-to-video sequel, Timecop 2: The Berlin Decision in 2003.

The new film is being produced by Marc Shmuger and Tom McNulty.
