Bryan Singer sued in Hawaii...
Bryan Singer has been accused of sexually abusing a teenage boy in a lawsuit filed in Hawaii today. Variety reports that Singer, along with former chairman of Digital Entertainment Network Marc Collins-Rector, were sued by Michael Egan. Egan claims that Collins initiated the sexual abuse and arranged for Singer to sexually assault Egan at a house in Encino, California.
The lawsuit also claims that Singer provided him with drugs and alcohol and flew him to Hawaii on multiple occasions in 1999. The site notes that Collins-Rector pled guilty to luring minors across state lines for sexual means in 2004 and is a registered sex offender.
Jeff Herman is representing Egan; he is a national sex abuse attorney. He represented the plaintiffs who accused Sesame Street's Kevin Clash of sexual abuse. Egan is seeking an unspecified damages.
Herman said in a statement, "Hollywood has a problem with the sexual exploitation of children. This is the first of many cases I will be filing to give these victims a voice and to expose the issue."
